This Right Ventricle focused meeting is unique in spanning basic, translational and clinical topics to address contemporary research and clinical questions from bench to bedside. Distinguished international faculty of experts will discuss unique aspects of RV biology, physiology and failure, how to image the RV, medical and surgical solutions to RV disease, and future directions in RV research.
Course Objectives:
1. Gain a comprehensive understanding of RV physiology, its adaptation to adverse loading and failure in congenital and acquired heart disease.
2. Understand the diagnosis and management of RV dysfunction and its interaction with the left ventricle and pulmonary vasculature.
3. Update on the most current bench and bedside research as a basis for future diagnosis and therapies.
