Funding Opportunities

The Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research is committed to funding high-value, high-potential, research proposals that have strong scientific merit and align with a core vision of transforming the care of children and adults with heart failure through discovery, innovation and knowledge translation.

We have established two funds intended to further that mission, specifically through collaborations with our three partner institutions: The Hospital for Sick Children, University Health Network, and the University of Toronto. Each involves a thorough review process: all applications receive scores on scientific excellence and potential, but also on how well the proposal aligns with the mission and how well it meets the objective of collaboration.

Note: While the following two funds have, to date, primarily originated from the University of Toronto and its allied hospitals, we welcome trainees and innovation ideas from all other institutions willing to collaborate with local investigators.
